AM I TO MY OWN SELF TRUE?

What binds you to your principle sir,
Is not for another man to say,
For you are by all accounts a man,
With the freedom to choose your way.
Who'd raise his sword against himself,
To protect another's choice,
Is a man who has no freedom,
A man who has no voice.
And should you walk in fear sir,
Ashamed of what you do,
Then you are not a man sir,
You are a servant in a zoo.
But ah! Who am I to judge you?
Am I to my own self true?
