What graphic of you would I design
If I had your skill to try.
‘Twould be a picture so sublime
That the paint would never dry.
For in your art, your mystic wand
Designs a truth so pure
That all the evils must abscond
That seek to cherish war.
Now you raise the writer’s pen
That you paint your scapes in words,
Which has me marvelling once again
How your splendid art occurs.
God in his wisdom gave you fire
With flames that light the night
For in every purpose you inspire
With a pure eternal light.
