It is worth much to many, dear friend,
But we veterans need not pretend,
The other cheek we must turn if we are to learn,
Without killing how to defend,
The meek the downtrodden and poor,
From the terrorist at tranquilities door,
We must knock ‘em all off with the hat that we doff,
As we bow to the blood reddened floor.
