Those who oft are possessed by wealth and power,
Who hide their sins behind the things they preach,
Who teach Gods words each day and every hour
While they remain unquestioned out of reach,
How many in their sanctuaries harbour sin
Who have the role of always being right?
Where does our love and trust in them begin?
Tis fed into our minds before our sight.
Then who can argue with the thoughts they think,
Thoughts consumed before their lips could speak?
Who can admonish their own minds precinct,
When they, at wiser age, more knowledge seek?
How do you know those nurtured thoughts are true
That were not there when God gave life to you?
