Is it not the man who holds the mike
Whose voice above the rest will be heard?
Who rides too fast or slow upon his bike,
Will never see the shadow of the bird.
We are told what “they” want us to hear.
We seldom know what is false or true,
Responding to whatever makes it clear
That we will gain some good from what we do.
Tis by our own device that we have sown
Corrupted seeds to benefit our way;
That we believe, because they are our own,
All the words that other people say.
Thus, when you blame another for his rule,
Remember who provided him with the tool.
