IN TIME
Lapping ever softly
waves lavish the shore
coming in and leaving
only to return once more.
Erosion taking place
bringing shells in trade
taking the beach away
in this continuous raid.
In time transfiguration
until no one remembers
changes evolve again
seen in ashes embers.
