DWARFED
In immensity of time
I grovel into the dirt
unable to draw a line
with this evil I flirt.
Ever to rise and sing
but unable to stand
hearing the bells ring
I fail to understand.
Pillars of spiraling glass
range beyond my sight
filling and voiding mass
hindering all but flight.
Sinking into the ground
roots to shallow caught
rains in weakness found
compound lessons taught.
Dwarfed splintering glaze
unknowing or danger such
all humanity to now raze
unquenchable fires touch.
