BURNINGS
First the laws to burn
then books and paintings
soon they'd find of us
their rantings and hatings.
Scaring tissues of belief
torching the human soul
a conflagration of disease
destroying families whole.
The evil touch of hands
tearing, ripping, shredding
burnings of lusts incited
humanity now beheading.
Lest we feel the fool
still with us all today
violating all God's rules
without feelings their way.
