THIS HEAVY HEART
Carrying my heart
clearly it will show
wounds and pain
wherever I do go;
This heavy heart
baring the news
those passed on
in worldly views;
Yet knowing inside
what others feel
daughter-son-father
mother’s life to seal;
Death within carried
ever within my heart
sympathy to convey
this heavy heart!
