GOD’S CREATIONS
(Prelude:
Mattereth not
believing the truth
all that’s begot
in the age of youth
Saying there’s none
won’t be an excuse
when the trial done
mortality to abuse
For in God’s creations
perfection is found
not any imitations
in nature to abound)
Dragon Fly
Hovering so near
stopping to visit
nothing to fear
feeling the spirit
Feather light
wings and form
lovely this sight
in nature’s norm
Grasshopper
Hitching a ride
through the wood
nothing to hide
upon the hood
Finally stopping
up on the windshield
no more hopping
till in a new field
Chameleons
My friend to come by
at least once a day
just wanting to say hi
never long to stay
Yesterday in brown
today wearing green
never with a frown
meticulously clean
Water Snake
Well disguised
but still to be seen
weary be advised
his senses keen
Moving effortlessly
amid the water reeds
sometimes restlessly
on insects it feeds
Gator
Seeking the shore
listlessly it appears
trembling in the core
arousing new fears
As long as I can see
knowing just where
then I can still flee
in nature to share
(Epilogue:
Each so different
yet so much the same
perfections compliment
with a varied name
God’s Creations here
just a few to understand
organization so clear
numerous as the sand.
Believe as one will
with a testimony sure
or in nothingness still
the Gospel is pure.
Many rant and rave
never looking around
hoping all values cave
as proof does abound)
