BARE POLES
No hurricane winds
no tornadoes blowing
no sails to reef
just silence bellowing.
Disinterested respect
throwing away pride
lacking of interest
hoping for a free ride.
Bare poles and tears
flags no longer flown
lingering doubts of God
abdication now known.
