HOSPITAL STAY
I will never forget that day
In my hospital stay
When I felt I would have to welcome death,
Feeling excruciating pain at every breath.
I felt little hope of recovery,
Until I made the discovery.
I had fallen asleep and when I awoke
The painful spell finally broke.
It was in the dead of the night,
And my body had refused to give up the fight.
I thank my family who prayed that I live,
And continually praise God for the miracle he did give.
