Author’s Note: (A Found Poem) And I should point out that the little red book I'm quoting from was given to me when I did my officer training with the Australian Army.

OFFICERS SHOULD NOT CARRY PARCELS

Customs of the Army -
Plain clothes should be worn
when travelling
in a public conveyance.
If required to travel
in uniform,
officers should not carry parcels.
