Those who’ve known you,
Remember still.

In recent years it had to be,
A difficult war:
One that has made stronger,
Your very core.

Thankful you were for,
Just a moment more,
So to spend time with,
The family you adore.

God has sent an angel,
As your guide.
It is Heather’s blessed strength,
Forever at your side.

Together you were
To make miracles come true:
With Julia making,
Three of your two.

Now they must
Bid bye-bye
As off you go
To an Air Force in the sky.

Please watch over us,
As on this journey we go.
Knowing a life line,
Is never easy to tow.

God Bless and Keep you as this wonderful Soldier, Husband and Father who is now a guardian to so many. You feel in your heart he is with you, because he is. Without him, the book that I presented to you on behalf of your military family would have never gotten to you. I am humbled to have presented it to you, from his spirit.
