The wisdom of living
is a personal quest.
There’s so many paths
that lead us to rest.

Sorrow is a burden
some live every day.
A well trodden path
that takes them astray.

Walking in sunshine
with a smile on your face.
Counting one’s blessings
is living with grace.

Regrets are but only
as much as you choose.
Whether you’re living or dying
is all up to you.
