A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY

It's someone special's birthday today
And I want to express my heart
And let them know,
What they mean to me
Now, where does a poor fellow start?

They have been there for me now,
For quite a number of years
She encouraged me
And helped me so
When my eyes were full of tears

That birthday person is such a delight
And cares so very much
For everything
And everyone
They have a compassionate magical touch

They are also so darn witty
And write poems so reflective
Their words make me think,
and then laugh or cry
Always interjecting the right adjective

Yes, it's someone specials birthday today
And I really want to say
Have lots of fun,
Eat loads of cake
Have a wonderful birthday Faye.
