COUNTING MOMENTS

The precise time that
you are finished reading theses words,
There shall be a special moment.

That impending moment,
will shortly transform into the present,
then ultimately fade into the past.

So use that moment wisely,
for each moment slips through our existence,
as sand passing in an hour-glass.

And we have no perception,
of the dimension of that metaphorical hourglass,
and at what point it shall become empty.

So I urge you not to lament
each gifted moment you’ve spent.
Make them all significant.

Now that moment is imminent.
In actual fact that magical future time
Has just arrived…
