Lex lives in and is a native of Canarvon, Western Australia; his family have lived in the area since 1885. He was the President of the local R&SL (Returned and Services League) Club for several years, is the Bagpiper for weddings, funerals, 21sts, and bar mitzvahs, local tax/practitioner/accountant, and is doing his PhD at the University of New South Wales. He is in fact, the proverbial "Bush Lawyer"... well, there had to be one somewhere...!
