Bernie “Doc” Duff

Doc served in Vietnam with the 51st Medical Company based at Phu Bai while in Vietnam and my base camp was Phu Tai. He arrived in Vietnam January 1969 and left in January 1970… on his 19th and 20th birthdays

It is his hope that the viewing these images may provide some measure of closure. In painting them, he has gained some control of a situation over which he has had no control over for better than thirty years.
