I was told that this painting would have been selected as 2004 Best of Show at the VA's Michigan Creative Arts Festival, but it was too large to qualify. Still, it remains as one of my own personal favorites.

The painting shows a downed chopper with all of the activity around and the people clearing and cleaning up the area.
