how can you go on?
… the soldier asked the little man
how can you bear losing all
i don’t,

there’s no going on
what was, is no more within

when the beast arrived,
chaos ruled my soul
… my inner sea, a giant wave
from pain, panic and from endless horrid scream
… i could not flee
to the feeble dreams
i did cling
blinded by faith, i could not see
hope itself kept me slave

one day, i know not when
my world tore
no longer did i know
my child next to me
