Maureen Clifford
Maureen Clifford currently lives in Ipswich – a hop, skip and jump from the Amberley Air Force Base in Queensland. Her family have always had, through the years, military connections. Her Brother is now a retired Warrant Officer in the Australian Air Force, and her Father and Uncle both served in the Navy.
She wrote these poems for the boys distressed by the pain of serving in Afghanistan.
