Images of bloodshed,
Snapshots of brutality,
Sound bytes of gunfire,
Showing every malady.

Confusion breeds contempt
Spreading hate with every step,
Gossiping, grumbling, shouting,
With such a quickness evil crept.

Keep the peace between us,
Let the fire die,
Show the kindness kept within
Before river begins to dry.
