DEAR TINA

It’s been a good week
since you passed on
sadness keeps falling
tears have not all gone

Many have expressed
their sorrows and pain
stories and poetry fill
blogs that some maintain

I know you’re not hurt
nor in anymore sickness
I know you’re sleeping
in death, free from distress

Sometimes I find I talk
to your memory inside
imagining answers you’d
give me with humble pride

Anniversaries continue too
I know you had some also
that was playing havoc
on your memories of ago

Not sure how your Love is
perhaps taking things one
day at a time; I can hope
that all support has not gone

Her path is a difficult one
probably for a good while
of mourning’s love for you
continuing on will be a trial
