A BUTTERFLY'S LOVER

He pierces right through her
With fixedly dark amorous eyes
Haunting images from a monsieur
Consuming the love she'll disguise

Such intensity, this gaping gaze
Unto her heart and inner soul
Searching through a lover's maze
With such fortitude as his goal

Immense emotion and dauntless
Deep is his desire to enrapture her,
To steal her love with much success
And become this butterfly's lover
