Melanie C. Campos ~ MahTame

ROSE AND MR. DEMILLE

They met on the ocean blue
Gliding across majestic whites
Waves of grandeur carried
Them beyond glorious sites

He was her stronghold and charm
She with thorn of a beauteous fleur
Gentle yet protective of her; he was
As they swam in the salty sea grandeur

Birds of the heaven above soared
Encircled the two lovers of the sea
Singing gullish serenades of affection
While the water embraces with glee

Daydreams come and go with sunsets
Realities renew with the mornin’ dew
‘Come with me Rose’ as he whispers
As he leads through journeys of new

‘I’ll go where ever you go, Mr. DeMille,’
The fish of the sea weaving between
Her and He; She and him; two opposites
Taking the risk of trusting once again
