MISSING MY FRIEND, TINA BEDINA

Seems like it was just yesterday
When we’ve last talked on the phone
You were worrying if I would stay
As your friend forever, ne’er alone

I was going to the sandy shore
Chasing salty waves to and fro
You wondered if I would ignore
Our friendship; to just let it all go

Many times I’ve wanted to call you
Looking for some advice or an ear
Or have you listen to native music, too
I know you loved to listen and hear

I still write poems of life and stuff
Have begun to compose stories
Seems like there’s ne’er enough
Time for thinking up lots of poetries

I miss you, dear Tina Bedina, friend
One day, I pray, we shall meet again
To laugh and chat till a day’s end
For now, I go on, and wait until then
