A BLIZZARD HAS A COME…

A blizzard has a come
Made a plentiful drift
Along, this house of mine
There ain’t a big fireplace
Nor is there wood a cracklin’
Just, a stayin’ warm inside
Flakes on the windows
Snow mountain ‘gainst the door
‘N, the wind is a howlin’ ‘bout
There ain’t a big pot of cocoa
Nor is there homemade pie
Just, a bunch of soup a boilin’
Some folks are a celebratin’
Others a makin’ do with less
But, I’m a thankful, for what I got
