Lonesome for my warrior
Sitting high above the plains
Searching for a sign
Waiting patiently
Yearning to be embraced
By his strength and might
Thinking of my warrior
Next to the mesquite tree
Looking toward the horizon
In all directions
Longing to be held
In his muscular arms
Wondering about my warrior
Lying under the midnight heavens
Anticipating his return
Listening intently
Resonating flute sounds drifting
Along the winds in canyon walls
Impassioned for my warrior
Wading through ripples of water
Seeking his love and desire
In the midst of the land
Wishing wholeheartedly
To be with him again
