CASTLES IN THE SKY

Castles in the Sky,
Bright as Morning light,
Clouds as white as Snow,
This is where my mind used to go.

I used to see fairies,
On butterflies,
With Wings of magic,
Of wonder and light.

I used to feel the water,
As it ran through my fingers,
Used to see Unicorns,
nighttime’s Creatures.

I used to see all these things,
In my land of dreams.

Then one man came along,
He changed everything.

He showed me much happiness,
Brought light to my world.

My dreams turned to reality,
As the sun filled the sky,
I still see these things,
In the middle of the night.

My Prince, my love,
So brave and strong,
He holds my hand,
When things go wrong.

He brings light to my darkness,
When my dreams grow to nightmares;
He saves me from my demons,
When there is no one else to care.

Castles in the Sky,
Bright as Morning light,
Clouds as white as Snow,
This is where my mind still goes,
In the middle of the night,
When the world turns cold.
