BECCA AND ME
She came to me on silver wings
As I closed my eyes to dream
She took me from this place in the dark
And took me high above the stars
We reached the skies and the Heavens above
Where I felt safe from any and all harm
A forest of light devoid of dark a fire
Flickering on a single mountain top
We reached the peak
And there stood an angel
She took me in him arms
Telling me in a voice so soft:
This is where I've gone my friend
High above the stars and sky
Where we took our moonlight rides
You came to me in times of need
I stay with you even as you grieve
I love you just as much as before
Please don't cry for me anymore
I'm hap now the pain is gone
But my babies and husband
Are sad and alone
How I wish I could have stayed for a while
But the Gods decided that it was my time
For me it was time so do not weep anymore
I am home now where I belong
My parents are with me
And the Warriors of the past
I am here with them safe at last
Safe from harm and those who hurt me
Tell everyone I love them
And please don't cry for me
Go home now it is not your time
Take the memories of you and me
Do not forget and please do not weep
You and I will be together again
So I took to the sky on a steed did I ride
With her mane of silver and her golden wings
She brought me home where I woke from the dream
I'll do what she says I'll weep no more
But I'll never forget the bond we share
As sisters now as mothers as very best friends

BECCA AND ME
You came to me on silver wings as I closed my eyes to dream
You rode me with on mighty steeds with eyes of fire and hearts that didn't bleed
You were with me as in sleep I brought forth a son to the world
You are with me no matter what the hurdle
We were sisters on a human scale
We were sisters who knew so well
The things that we faced
The things were so much alike
You and I were twins at some time
I came to you when I needed to cry
I came to you as time passed us by
I came to you with a heart so torn
I came to you through the Good Lord Above
You took me in as one of the family
You showed me love
You showed me caring
Though we never met
In this place and time
I feel as if I knew you
In another place
In another time
We came to each other in our times of need
We came to each other as our souls did grieve
You and I we're a pair of hearts
You and I share a sisterly bond
We will meet again in another time and place
We will meet again when God says when
