A WALK IN THE WOODS

Walking around in the summer breeze,
Feeling the wind as it rustles the leaves,
Watching the birds as they fly from the trees,
Walking in the woods, just admiring it all,
Sky so blue it pierces the eyes, sun so bright,
Its light fills the sky, walking along a narrow path,
Walking along and not looking back,
Following the path to a clearing so wide,
Everything I see stretches for miles,
Bees are buzzing in the tall grass,
Field mice running forth and back,
The sky so blue it pierces the eyes,
A walk in the woods, in the summertime.
