WHEN HE LEFT

When he left,
She was alone,
When she cried,
She felt him close.

The rest of the day,
She felt angels’ wings,
Angel kisses,
And other things.

She dreamed that night,
And felt so safe,
Because she prayed,
To God to keep him safe.

She feels his touch,
His love and honor,
She cannot wait for the day,
When he can again hold her.

She watches him sleep;
However, she is not there,
Because she is an angel,
His angel fair.

She earned her wings,
Because she found the one,
Who was meant for her,
Her one and only true love.

When he sleeps,
And when he wakes,
He feels her with him,
And it feels so great.

These two special people,
So much in love,
Were brought together,
By the Great Spirit,
The Lord Above.

They thank the Lord,
For bringing them together,
Their love they will share,
From now and forever.
