UNITED STATES

Identities stolen: government slip-ups
Borders are broken illegals get the job
Sometimes I wonder what America
Is really all about

I wish I was born back in the day
Back in the time before Columbus came
Simple was the life of the Indian
Until we came along and
Their land we did use

We cannot replace
What is already lost
We can never replace
All the spirits lost

All that we can do
Is hope only for the best
Until the day when we
Become a truly United States

The Natives did their best
To keep up with the times
But now their souls
Are lost in all the mire

Of the government and people
Who took their lands and made
What we call right now
The United States

I hope there comes a day
When we will again find peace
I hope there comes a time
When we earn what we keep
