SPIRITUAL EMBRACE

“Warrior Women” by Dana TigerYou came to me when I had a need
To renew my faith in spirituality
I never thought I’d feel this way
You showed me love though
From very far away
I saw the images you described
The ship you wrote about
It made me cry as I sought
To understand what it was like
I never did get to stand
Next to you on your special days
Or with your family when you
Passed away
But in my heart I know we met
I have no remorse or regret
I just wish that I truly knew
You, your father and mother, too
You were my family though online
You showed me love of the
Spiritual kind
You left me with no cross to bear
But I sometimes feel it sitting there
As I write with tears of remembrance
I am grateful for the presence
Of your sister and your tio
Of dear tiger and so many others
Too many to name
I hope that we will meet again
Just like sisters a lot like friends
