SILENCE, THE TOOL

Silence speaks a thousand words
And every one of them is true,
Never believe everything you hear
For you don’t know if it’s true,
We watch TV and read the paper
Making our thoughts known,
But what’s inside is what really matters
The feelings in our hearts,
We may strike out in anger
Or simply out of spite,
But knowing that we love that person,
Deep inside, we cry,
Our feelings can be hard to express
So silence is sometimes best,
Just don’t let it get to you,
So you’ll be able to live without regret.
