SHADOW EYES

Amber eyes in the night,
Watching as she walks on by,
Poised and ready for the kill,
Silence broken with a sound so shrill,
Scattering among the leaves and bushes,
Wolf runs away with such stealth,
All you see is the tip of his tail,
Mustang rests upon the ground,
As she ignores the shrill sound,
As she rest under the trees,
Shadows surround her,
As she nurses her baby.
