RAINDROPS
Raindrops falling on the ground
Listening close you hear a sound
Like those of footsteps in the mud
You listen close as you wonder
Where it is coming from?
You keep your distance as you soon see
A tall white mare with a flowing mane
Standing there as not a single drop
Falls on her coat of pure heavenly white
She stands as if waiting
Should you go?
You think as you walk to her
She must be lost
You stroke her mane as she lets you get on
She takes you to places you only dreamed of
As you look at the world below
You watch the raindrops that now look like dew
While you go back down you suddenly realize
She is a Pegasus are you lost in a dream?
