FOR MY LITTLE MAN
Watching you sleep as I sit here tonight
I think of the things that happened in my life
I know I was spiteful and a very stubborn child
I grew into adulthood with a never ending reminder
That I have so many limits and so many abilities
It is hard for me to discover
How to make them work for me
I remember as a child some of the things I went through
I remember daily the reasons why I love you
You came into my life and helped me
Become a grown woman
Now my only wish to take that one step further
To give my heart to someone who makes me feel whole
A man perhaps a stranger who he is I may never know
But for now I watch you as you sleep and dream
I think of all the joy just one little man can bring
