FESTIVITIES?

Where are the crowds,
The banners,
The bands?

Where are the cheers,
The happy faces,
The embracing hands?

Where are the families,
The parents,
The children?

Where are the festivities?

In the heart,
The mind,
The soul.

Festivities are there,
Where ever you go.

It need not be physical,
But it is always there:
Happiness abounds,
All throughout the year.
