FEELINGS
Feelings I hide,
Afraid to let out.
Make want to cry,
Make me want to shout.
I know that feelings
Can be hard to express.
But through this poetry,
As you can see,
I’m doing my best.
I help people out,
Helping them see
That feelings are just as hard,
For someone like me,
To let out in the open.
Born disabled,
Not meant to walk.
Boy all those doctors,
Really could destroy all,
My parents’ hopes.
I proved them wrong,
Laughed in their faces.
Now I wish,
I could let out ALL these feelings.
It’s going to take time,
As you can see.
But one day,
My friends,
You will see.
