A RULER CAME BY NIGHT
A ruler once came to Jesus by night,
To ask Him the way to honor and right;
Jesus made answer in words true and plain.
Ye must be born again!
The ruler could not understand
The words spoken by The Son of Man;
How can I have another birth,
When I've already had one on Earth?
One on Earth is not enough,
As The Master makes it plain;
Again I say unto you,
Ye must be born again!
You cannot hide from God,
As you walk upon the sod;
The only hiding place you'll ever know
Depends upon a second birth here below!
You can come as the ruler did by night,
To learn first-hand that Jesus was right;
And as you yield to His plan,
You'll understand The Son of Man!
"Ye must be born again!"
