GOD’S TIME-TABLE!

There is a time, I know not when,
A place, I know not where,
When the trump shall sound
And God’s own, shall meet Him in the air!

Of that day and hour,
No one on Earth hath power
To change that which shall be,
Either on Earth or upon the sea!

We have God’s Holy Word
To guide us day by day;
In the Bible, His voice is heard
As we walk this Pilgrim Way.

And hear His Word, we must,
Before this clay turns back to dust;
If God chooses for us to know no grave,
We’ll be pleased to heed the Word He gave.

“Come up hither”, we’ll hear Him say,
“For you must abide with Me today.”
A happy glorious day that will be,
When I see all that He has prepared for me.

So, even come Lord Jesus,
And no longer delay;
We’ll turn loose of our natural birth,
And bid farewell to things on Earth!
