EATING CROW!
Feeling knowledgeable, full of gab;
Saying things that you don’t know?
You may have to retract it all,
And begin eating crow.
Now a pheasant roasted well,
Is a delicacy few men know;
But that other bird of black,
Is not the way to go.
So, guard your tongue,
And don’t tell everything you know,
Or else you’ll be among those
Who are always eating crow!
