HAVE YOU GONE BACK?

Have you gone back,
When you were a pup,
To the old home place?
Any changes since you grew up?

I did just that
Not very long ago.
My, how things have changed,
Since time has moved so slow!

The hills, I once thought as high,
Are now just mounds so small;
How could it be that I now see,
A different perspective in the FALL?

In the FALL of life,
When the leaves begin to fall.
The trees w/o their leaves,
Ever look so small!

Time does work its spell
On all who dwell below,
But ever moving forward,
Changes us, and the scenes we know!

Friends like Ford and Bill and Lee,
Have aged a bit since WWII,
Now older, and hopefully wiser;
And Sallyann, how about you?
