IRAQ’S POLARIZED WAR

This war for America isn’t supported by many
young civilian Americans who believe that war is
never warranted and must be banned forever.
Their reasons are legion but unrealistic at a
time when religious zealot armed forces control
nations bent on destroying prosperous enemies.

Is history of no value to those whose views and
purpose is to ignore deliberate aggression by
invaders and killers of human beings for power?
Are they so blind and convinced that enemies of
America are not plotting planning and performing
acts of war on us and our partners in justice?

Where does terrorism and insurrection stop in
a worldwide holy war to bring down America and
weaken the will and ability of larger countries to
stop and work to eliminate leaders whose
forces fight not for country but for promised
personal awards in an assured hereafter?

Oil is only a commodity of convenience for
both sides as we indulge in political debate
over ideals and control of our nation mired in
the quicksand of liberal versus conservative while
loyalty patriotism and common sense sink deeper
for lack of truth and commonality in a just war.

Dissenters oppose for reasons unrelated to Iraq’s
war that they bash along with its commander-in-
chief and his political party and the war’s supporters.
In America’s first erosive polarized war all of its
citizens remain confused in their expectancy that
those For Peace can only solve the dilemma.
