IN HIS LIGHT
There is a blessed little light
That shines inside my heart.
The source of energy that powers it
Will never leave me in the dark.
At times the light grows dim
And makes me feel my way.
But that is Jesus reminding me
That I must take time to pray.
Other times it shines so bright
That it has a transparent glow.
And that is Jesus showing others
That He lives down in my soul.
So whether that light grows dim
Or shines with that transparent glow
Darkness will never be in my heart
Because Jesus is in control!
