DEAR GOD
Dear God, protect the children
Who are living life afraid;
Hold them in your gentle arms
And comfort them today.
Dear God, please feed the children
Who have no food to eat;
Fill their little tummies full
So they'll be strong not weak.
Dear God, please hold the children
Who don't know the touch of love;
Give them hope to face the day
And happy things to dream of.
Dear God, please save the children
Who were never taught to pray;
Send them an Angel to guide them
So they will find their way.
