VIETNAM

The War is lost
But at what cost,
Not the Warrior – I see.
They fought and died for me
To keep us all free!

Politicians lost the War
For their personal gain,
Cared not – for so many slain
That is their bane,
Why so many have lain.

To this day I trust them not
They are a two faced lot,
And the money they got
For so many men slain,
Who died, I hope, NOT in vain.

I feel the pain
Of our Soldiers slain,
It will always
Remain the same,
No matter who’s to blame.
