George A. Borden
George is a retired Canadian Forces Captain (original Royal Canadian Air Force) with 32-years service and, in 2010, is just about to turn 75-years of age. He is married and lives in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
During his service, George served in peacetime in Canada and Middle East. He is an amateur historian: mainly cultural (black) and military matters.
A writer of poetry and prose on various subjects, he has also written a good deal of religious song poetry and considers himself to be a songwriter using poetic format as his basic genre. He has published several books of poetry and has had many articles published in anthologies, quarterlies, texts, etc. and is a member of the Writers Federation of Nova Scotia where his personal promo may be found by clicking on the WFNS Banner below.
